It has been such a joy playing for Brenda when she came and took part in our Music Halls. The first one she took part in I’d asked her to be in the Boozy Ladies singers. “Can I sing a solo?” She asked.  Wow what a character, there she was singing in full costume about her would be husband leaving her in the lurch at the church.  Such a lovely supportive warm human being too with no pretentions. She was a consummate performer. The saying “they don’t make ‘em like that these days” springs to mind.
