Accepted as a member of CADS in May1953 she played many parts including one recalled by Wyn Price when she played a deaf and dumb girl which he said was exceptional..She became a committee member in 1961 and was Vice Chairman 1965
She was very active in organising trips and functions including many theatre trips and recorded in the minutes by the chairman as ''Brenda had everything worked out down to the last tee''
Brenda left CADS in 1973 when she entered her training and career as a teacher which took up all her spare time.
She rejoined CADS in 1996 and played the part of Aggie Manville in a farce called PLAY ON.which was CADS 100th production. Other plays followed including Mrs Catterick in The Woman in White, Panic Stations and Holiday Snap which was her final part before she left to live in Felixstowe. At the final performance Brenda was awarded Life Membership of CADS together with parting gifts. (Photo attached)
