I will remember always, Brenda's clear, strong voice - a voice that age did not diminish - and her perfect enunciation (the dictionary defines enunciation as "more than pronouncing words clearly; it's expressing them well, too"). At family gatherings, Brenda didn't need much persuasion to sing. As we gathered around the piano, she would generously agree to sing in the key of C, or occasionally G, which made my life as her accompanist a lot easier!
